What Edennu is

Edennu is a marketplace for plants grown in Mexico. Nurseries, small growers and family businesses open a store, list what they actually have, and sell it to people nearby — without a shelf in a chain store standing in between.

The point is to keep the grower visible. You can see who is selling the plant, where they are, what other buyers thought of them, and you can write to them before you decide anything.

Every store is checked before its plants appear to shoppers.

Online checkout isn't available yet — for now, buyers and growers arrange payment between themselves.

Our story

Good plants usually come from people who care about them: a family nursery, a grower with a greenhouse behind the house, someone who has been propagating the same succulent for years. Those growers are everywhere in Mexico, and they are hard to find unless you already know where to look.

Edennu exists to make them easy to find. A place where a small grower can show what they have without building a website, and where someone looking for a plant can see who they are buying from before they buy.
